As a provider of investment projects, Kartago Capital A/S is registered as a manager of alternative investment funds (AIFs).
AIF Act
Among other things, the AIF Act imposes requirements on Kartago Capital A/S' capital, internal organisation and requirements for members of the Board of Directors and Executive Board of Cartago Capital A/S, see the Ordinance of the Act on Managers of Alternative Investment Funds etc. (AIFM Act).
The AIF registration also means that you as an investor are much better off because controls are included to ensure:
That risks greater than those identified by the AIF are not assumed.
That in individual projects there is liquidity for the ongoing repayment of liabilities (debt settlement, wages, etc.)
That established processes and procedures comply with applicable legal requirements
That internal controls have been established to ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements
